The California Clean Fuel Reward Proves Incentive Programs Work
Since Maritz Automotive facilitated the launch of California Clean Fuel Reward (CCFR) in November of 2020, data has shown that a thoughtful and well-managed rewards program can truly incentivize consumers to act. Through September 2022, CCFR’s instant price reduction on eligible battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) resulted in:
- Over 360,000 customers rewarded
- Over 1,000,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions saved
- Nearly 1,300 retailers enrolled
